One of my personal goals was to make something HUGE, you know Billy sized. Here is one of my ten pounders. I started with ten pounds of wet clay and it weighs about 4 pounds now. it is about 5 inches high and 7 inches in diameter. It is a good work out to wedge 10 pound balls of clay and then get them centered on the wheel. This is my first big pot that I was able to fire. It would have made a great bean pot or pickle jar but there is a nasty little crack on the inside so it will make a nice planter. This is the look I am aiming for in the glaze.
