OK! Now we get to use the potters wheel. Yea! Or not so yea. It is NOT as easy as it looks. My first dozen or so pieces out of about 100 attempts made it all the way to the scrap pile. Eventually I achieved the goal of throwing a cylinder but the walls were much too thick at first. My instructor referred to such heavy objects as domestic violence enablers or something to the effect. Here are my first cylinders that made it through the kilns.
