This piece had some neato pinwheels painted onto the side with pigmented slip that got totally covered up by a too thick application of glaze. But in some places there are some areas that came out looking like jade or something. It was frustrating to learn that a well constructed piece could be totally ruined by incorrect application of the glaze.
