One of the defined goals of the class was to make something that has a handle. I got ahead of my self on every lesson because I went to lab a lot and was able to take a shot of at the lessons before they were taught. Sometimes I went to youtube to get instruction on techniques in-between classes. Sometimes I would observe other students or ask them questions but most often I would just jump into a project head first. Obi Wan instructor liked my handles a lot although he said they could have used more of an "ear shape". And I agree. He has been teaching ceramics for about 40 years so I think he knows a thing or two.
